Multi layer PCB is a multi-layer routing layer. There is a dielectric layer between every two layers.
The dielectric layer can be made into a very thin layer. A multilayer circuit board having at least three conductive layers, wherein the outer surface has two layers, and the other layer is synthesized on the insulating board. The electrical connection between them is usually realized by plating through holes on the cross section of the circuit board.
The Isola fr408 is a high performance FR-4 epoxy laminate and prepreg system designed for advanced circuit applications.

This is the standard laminate used in our industry. We have all the major models in stock. The standard thickness used is 1.6 mm, but we also provide 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.2 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm and 3.2 mm thickness. The most common copper thickness is 35 microns or 1oz square feet, but 70 microns and 2 oz square feet of FT are usually used for higher current applications.
It is closely related to FR5, an old high-temperature version, but has now been replaced by the more common BT epoxy type.
